# Carcassonne ## Thoughts *Carcassonne* is an excellent board game. It's light enough that anyone can pick it up quickly and has enough flexibility that you can tailor the experience for any group. The base game comes with a couple of expansions: [[Carcassonne - The River]] and [[Carcassonne - The Abbot]], which are essential anyway, but I also really like [[Carcassonne - Inns & Cathedrals]].
