# Carcassonne - The River ## Thoughts This is a simple expansion that has a starting set of tiles which form a river that can be built off of. This is an alternative to the single starting tile that the base game has you use. I'd consider this expansion essential, and since it's included in the base game, the makers seem to think so, too.
