# It's Dark Outside ## A Choose Your Own Adventure Story **Written by Caden** **Started on December 16, 2025** ### Foreword It just occurred to me just a few minutes ago that [[Obsidian]] and [[Markdown]] are perfect tools for writing a simple choose your own adventure story! I don't think there's a way to have any kind of fancy functionality beyond choosing a path through the plot lines, but that's the most important part anyway. I can't imagine that I'll finish this all in one go, so I'll publish more as time goes on! This story is inspired by [[Stained Glass]], which I wrote in one shot while waiting at a layover during a flight.
