## Error / Issue > [!error] > k4a cannot open device (error) > \<unknown assembly\> type:\<unknown type\> member:(null) ## Solution [[Daniel Jerina|Daniel]] got this working by installing a newer version of the [[Orbbec]] SDK after uninstalling the existing [[Starcat Games/Wiki/Hardware/Microsoft/Azure Kinect]] SDK and Azure Kinect Body Tracking SDK. The viewer applications worked at this point, but body tracking didn't seem to. After then installing the aforementioned AK SDKs, everything seemed to work fine. This didn't ever seem necessary before trying to get [[NHSHOF]] volleyball up and running on a new batch of PCs, so my guess would be some kind of driver issue or conflict occurred with the installed SDKs — maybe a simple Windows security block on the installer files or something. #unity #orbbec #kinect #azure_kinect
