# The Rainmaker ## Thoughts This is a great read, but I actually like the movie ([[Movies/Movie Notes/T/The Rainmaker|The Rainmaker]]) better! [[2024 - July 29 - Monday]]: As of today I'm at about 90% completion of this read-through. It's super good, although I think I prefer the movie, to be honest. I think the courtroom drama aspect of it is just more balanced, and less "easy" for Rudy's character. I will say that I like the early part of the book a lot where Rudy is trying to get a job lined up before graduation.
