# Army of Darkness ## Thoughts Exceptional B-movie and peak [[Bruce Campbell]]. >*Hail to the king, baby.* >*Yo, she-bitch! Let's go.* >*What, were you raised in a barn? Shut the door!* >*It got into my hand and it went bad, so I lopped it off at the wrist.* But that didn't stop it. It came back — big time.* ## Film Versions Generally, I much prefer the **theatrical edition** of *Army of Darkness*, but there are quite a few differences between it and the other versions, especially the **Director's Cut**. If not for the ending of the latter, I would like it a lot more. There are certain things that are noticeably absent from all versions from each other. I've been tempted more than once to try editing a new supercut of the movie of my own that combines my favorite aspects of both!
