# Contact ## Thoughts *Contact* was overall pretty decent. The best part for me was the beginning exposition and initial contact of the ET signal. Gets a bit weird and cheesy at times, but I appreciated the themes of optimism. The character, Ellie, not believing in things she couldn't prove, but having it turned around on her at the end was a nice bit of character-building.
