# Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone ## Thoughts My partner and I really enjoyed watching this one. I had last watched it back in 2024, but the sequels, especially the later ones, I haven't watched in *many* years. While the movie adaptation has to skip through a bunch of extra things from the book, the film version is still great! The casting was also excellently — all of the characters fit their role perfectly. It's crazy to go back and watch these early *Harry Potter* films and see how young all of the cast is at this point! It reminds me of watching the first couple of seasons of [[Stranger Things]]. ## Watch History I watched this back in the day when it was new, but more recently I watched it in 2024.
