# October Sky ## Thoughts I hadn't seen this movie since sometime in middle school or perhaps high school, but it still holds up well. It's a fun coming-of-age movie in the same vein as something like [[Rudy]]. I tend to like stories that take place in the mid-to-late 1900s, so this one suited me well in that sense! It's also interesting that it's based on a true story — I think that adds to the experience, too.
