# Phenomenon ## Thoughts My partner and I recently watched this one ([[2026 - July 20 - Monday]]), and I was surprised by how sad of a movie it is! Back in the day, my family had this film on [[VHS]], and I've seen it a number of times. However, before the most recent viewing, it had probably been 15+ *years* since I had last seen it! That probably explains why I didn't remember a lot of the "drama" aspects of it. I thought [[John Travolta]] did a nice job as the lead character, and the overall story was interesting. One thing that I think could be improved is the pacing, as the runtime is about two hours, and I feel like it could probably be shaved down by 15-20 minutes pretty easily.
