## Thoughts Weakest of the original trilogy. Meanders around a lot as far as story goes. Starts the ball in motion of writing a story way to complicated for its own good. I didn't finish reading [[The Scorch Trials]] book either, but I liked the basic maze concept from [[Starcat Games/Wiki/Literature/Books/The Maze Runner|The Maze Runner]]. I feel like that's an interesting concept to build off of, but you need to have a plan if there are going to be sequels, and in this case I feel like the plot was trying to be way to serious for its own good.
