# Animal Crossing ## Thoughts I don't actually remember the last time that I played this one, but I definitely recall it having a lot more personality and charm than the newer entries, especially [[Animal Crossing - New Horizons]]. The villagers weren't afraid to be a bit on the mean or grumpy side, either, which made conversations a lot more interesting! I wonder if it still holds up or if it hasn't aged as well as I would hope. I know [[Animal Crossing - New Leaf]] is solid and has a lot of the charm of the older entries. I remember even having the *Animal Crossing*-themed [[GameCube]] memory card that came with the game. It had a "special gift" included on it for in the game, but I don't remember what it was… I had to [look it up](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/516502-animal-crossing/76880121) for more information. It's a mystery as to what happened to that memory card. I had the game and case for a very long time, but not the card. Maybe someone borrowed the game and didn't give it back? ## Progress It's hard to say at this point, but I know that I at least had the basement for my house!
