# Animal Crossing ## Thoughts I don't actually remember the last time that I played this one, but I definitely recall it having a lot more personality and charm than the newer entries, especially [[Animal Crossing - New Horizons]]. I wonder if it still holds up, or if it hasn't aged as well as I would hope. I know [[Animal Crossing - New Leaf]] is solid yet, and definitely has a lot of the charm that the older entries had. I remember even having the [[Animal Crossing Series]]-themed [[GameCube|GC]] memory card that came with the game. It had a "special gift" included on it for in the game, but I don't remember what it was… I had to [look it up](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/516502-animal-crossing/76880121) for more information. It's a mystery as to what happened to that memory card. I had the game and case for a very long time, but not the card. Maybe someone borrowed the game and didn't give it back?
