# Animal Crossing: New Horizons ## Thoughts This Animal Crossing game is pretty, but lacks a lot of the charm that made the older games great. I feel like this keeps happening with a lot of series/IPs where the rough edges get sanded down so much that a lot of the personality is lost in the final product. It's a fun game though for what it is, and I'm sure a lot of people really like it. ## Entries [[2024 - August 25 - Sunday]]: I started a new play-through of this again. We'll see how long I stick to it, but I'm enjoying it so far. I think it just lacks some kind of a pizazz that really keeps me from getting drawn into it more.
