## Thoughts The original title for this game was "Ion Maiden," but the studio got a cease and desist letter from Iron Maiden's legal representation about it being too close in name to the band's — pretty dumb to me, but that's why the name was changed in the end. This is an awesome retro shooter. They even used the [Build Engine](http://advsys.net/ken/build.htm), so it's extremely authentic compared to games like [[Duke Nukem 3D]] and such. I finished the main campaign last year or so (2023) — it was one of those situations where I had started the game a number of times, but never actually gotten to the end. The sequel/expansion, [[Ion Fury - Aftershock]], is similar in that I've started the game, but I haven't finished it yet (as of [[2024 - September 11 - Wednesday]]). ## Progress ### Main Story **Completed**
