## Thoughts
I feel like [[Nintendo]] did a solid job on this one. The look and feel are how I remember the original [[GameCube]] version looking back in the day! I really like the exploration aspect of the 3D environments, which also carried over to the sequel *Prime* games. It's pretty easy to traverse each area of the map without running in arbitrary obstacles — not something I can say about [[Metroid Dread]] — so I really appreciate that. Each mobility upgrade you get makes a pretty substantial difference to how you get around each area, too.

I completed the game finally — it was a fun play-through! I remember getting to the final boss in the original game back in the day, but for some reason I don't recall actually beating it. This time around, I felt like the boss wasn't actually that difficult at all!
