# Nintendogs - Dachshund & Friends ## Thoughts It's hard to imagine a game that's more chill than *Nintendogs*. Taking care of and training your own digital dog was a fun idea! You could do the basic things, like feeding, bathing, and walking them, but you also train them to do obstacle courses and catch discs! There were other activities as well, but it was really cool to use the microphone and touchscreen together to directly interact with your dog. [[Nintendo]] went the direction that they did with many of the [[Pokémon Series]] titles and had different flavors of the game, which affected which breeds of dogs were available. I had *Dachshund & Friends*, while the other versions were *Lab & Friends* and *Chihuahua & Friends*. Back in the day, my cousin also had this game, but I believe she had the *Lab* version. ## Progress > *It has been so long since I've played* Nintendogs *that I'm not even sure what metrics to put here in terms of progress. I'm pretty sure you get records in the game for contests and such, but I don't remember for sure. If someday in the future I revisit this game, I'll update this note.*
