This remake looks nice most of the time, but it just feels slower and less pleasant to play overall to me. > [!info] Related [[Paper Mario - The Thousand-Year Door]] ## Progress **Main Story:** *Incomplete* --- [[2026 - May 20 - Wednesday]]: The last time I played this, which was probably almost two years ago — how crazy time flies — I got to the X-Nauts' secret moon base, but didn't actually finish the game. --- [[2024 - July 1 - Monday]]: I've been playing this off and on since it came out. Overall, I'd say it's a solid remake. The revamped music is fantastic! While visually it looks great, I don't care much for the shiny surfaces that most of the ground seems to have. Also, the fact that it runs at 30FPS is a major step back in the visual sense. It's surprising how slow the game feels in turn, especially when combined with the sluggish UI.
