While this game was the start of a not-so-great change in direction for the [[Paper Mario Series]], it has its own merits for sure: * Being able switch perspectives between 2D and 3D was — and still is — pretty novel. * Having secrets and puzzle utilizing such perspective-shifting was a clever design choice. * Solid music. * Interesting character designs. I think one of the only things I don't like about it is how slow some of the navigation is around the hub areas.
