About The Game
Journey Express is a game about getting people to where they’re trying to go and surviving the journey there. Check out the Journey Express Roadmap for more details on the development progress of the game!
- Create and customize your character with unique backstories, traits, and other aspects.
- Select a party to guide to their destination. These are randomly generated in size, the people in them, where they’re starting from and where they’re going, as well as how much money and reputation you’ll get upon completion!
- Along the way you’ll need to hunt, fish, and trade in order to have enough supplies to make it all the way!
- If you make it to the end of your journey, you’ll be rewarded with wealth and reputation to add to your family’s legacy!

What inspired Journey Express?
- Journey Express takes elements from several genres. The core inspirations come from games that have made an impression on me over the years, such as:
- Resource Management: Oregon Trail II
- Exploration: Skies of Arcadia
- Adventure: The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
Who is working on the game?
- Journey Express is a passion project of mine that I’ve worked on over several years!
What game engine is being used to build it?
- Journey Express runs on Unity, specifically one of the last versions of the 2022 editor.
