Spirit Island

Thoughts

As of today (2026 - August 3 - Monday), I still haven’t played my copy of Spirit Island. I bought it back when tariffs were threatening to cause at least some board game companies to close up shop — I think it was early/mid last year. There was an update that a new publisher is working to take over the game’s production, but I don’t know what will happen with that.

In any case, I bought the base game plus some of the higher-end components like the fancy player boards and such. It’s a little unfortunate to not get much time on games that you buy.
