The interaction between Kathy Bates and James Caan is excellent. Having the majority of the scenes in the house kept the story very focused. Great adaptation of the novel.

My partner liked this one! She was a little squeamish about the violent parts, but fortunately there isn’t a ton of that in this movie. I mentioned to her how I liked that the movie takes place basically in one room between two people, which is really impressive from a storytelling point of view.
