For some reason or another, this quote has always really stuck with me. I haven’t seen Twilight Zone: The Movie for many, many years, but I’ve always remembered this part, which is spoken by the character Mr. Bloom. I think it resonated with me a bit because it struck a chord with how I perceived adults not doing as much fun things anymore compared to how kids are always wanting to do fun things. I’ll admit that it’s part of growing up to take on more responsibilities, but I also believe that people allow themselves to not make time for fun things and hobbies anymore.
