Thoughts
Of the whole Mario Party Series, I think this entry is the one I’ve played the most, perhaps only surpassed later by Mario Party 8. This was a popular game during family get-togethers back in the N64 era, so it got a lot of use between my siblings, cousins, and I. Another one that was played a lot in such gatherings would, of course, be Mario Kart 64.
Compared to Mario Party 2, which introduced items into the mix, this game refined that mechanic quite a bit. One major change was that you could carry up to three items at a time instead of just one.

Story Mode: Incomplete
2026 - July 1 - Wednesday:
My partner and I played a 20-round game on Woody Woods! These older titles are a breath of fresh air from the absolutely glacial ones like Super Mario Party Jamboree TV.
2026 - June 29 - Monday:
This game got some playtime in this last weekend when family was visiting — it was super fun! I think these older titles hold up really well.
