Stop ‘N’ Swop

There’s a super interesting unused feature in this game that was also intended to be used in other titles like Banjo-Tooie and Donkey Kong 64: “Stop ‘N’ Swop”! By reaching certain areas of the game, you would be able to remove the game cartridge and insert another compatible game, which opened up extra content. See this website for an excellent writeup of the feature!
